Ivan, I forgot to add this is SCCM 2012 R2. Planning on installing CU1 in a week or two. I'm sure CU1 won't make any difference.
I'm about ready to add the full path to the exe in question to see if that makes a difference. I wanted to get feedback from the list first. I'll let you know if I find out anything. Thanks, Ken ... I have the following set up to be inventoried via Software Inventory: [cid:[email protected]] When I run a SQL query against the v_GS_Installed_Software view for the product name I get a count of 628 machines. (This is the correct count.) When I then run a SQL query against the v_GS_SoftwareFile view to get the file version the count is only 185. Why are the counts different?
