That's good to hear! We like to be on the most recent BIOS if possible. Are all models going to be addressed? Also, who specifically should I contact about getting the test release?
Thanks! All Dell Business Client systems (Latitude, Optiplex, Precision) *should* support WOL by default. I checked on this issue and it will be corrected in a BIOS version slated for release in a couple months. You can either stay on A02, or request a test version of the upcoming BIOS release from Dell Support. Rather than going through every one of our models, I was hoping someone out there might already have compiled a list of Dell models and the BIOS version required for wake on LAN to work properly. For example, the OptiPlex 9020 won't wake up unless you are running BIOS version A02, but the one I tested had A03. I tried upgrading to the latest, it still didn't work. Once I downgraded to A02, it worked.
