I cannot understand why AMT just doesn't use the existing computer account. There are a couple reasons for using AD integration, I'd have to dig them up, but not a major deal breaker. I believe if you are using SCCM to provision you must use AD integration.
AMT in general is messed up, it's a giant cluster to figure out. They are the same as the real accounts but end in $me. I just enabled OOB today. Now when I run a query for something like ARP data the funky computer name shows instead of the real one. select distinct sys.name0, DisplayName0 from v_R_System sys INNER JOIN v_GS_ADD_REMOVE_PROGRAMS arp on arp.ResourceID = sys.ResourceID where DisplayName0 = 'FooBar' returns [cid:[email protected]] ________________________________ John Marcum MCITP, MCTS, MCSA Sr. Desktop Architect Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP ________________________________ [cid:[email protected]] ________________________________ Confidentiality Notice: This e-mail is from a law firm and may be protected by the attorney-client or work product privileges.
