You’ll probably want to use SMS_ApplicationLatest instead of SMS_Application. You’ll typically find “duplicate” entries under SMS_Application, because it enumerates all versions of a CI. SMS_ApplicationLatest represents the true number of Application objects in ConfigMgr, hence the “latest” version nomenclature in its name.
