We have had heaps of issues with HP's latest laptop models - in particular the 650 G1 and 620 G1 relating the new HP Slim Docking Stations amongst a great many other things.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if you have to handle the driver installations differently across models even though they are referencing the same driver pack. I've also noticed that HP are now including drivers in those packs that you don't necessarily need. I have been doing a QA on the driver packs and removing all the extra 'garbage' before adding to SCCM. The install command is pretty easy, I don't have it to hand as I'm not in the office. For my HP laptops I also have model specific driver installations for the Bluetooth software, WWAN and AMD graphics where applicable. There is an MSI that I'll resort to but wondered if anyone else had experiences this?
