Several of our Roles are front-ended via IIS, as a service rather than a 
website a user browsers into, the exception to this would be the Application 
Catalog which is for users to consume.

Take a Management Point for example, it is an ISAPI extension off the side of 
IIS, the Clients (CCM Agent) speaks to this Role over Port 80 (Client Port, 
whatever you’ve settled on if you changed the default) and gets Policy.
