Have you tried logging onto your Config Mgr Primary as the account you used to 
do the install of the Config Mgr 2012 instance? Then try to remove them through 
the Console?

Failing that, others here may be able to offer further suggestions....

Subject: [mssms] Unable to modify administrative users


I'm having issues with 3 administrative users that we have defined.  I am 
trying to remove some of the security roles that they are currently assigned, 
but even as Full Administrator, I don't have the option to remove the role.

I can add new security roles and delete these, but not existing roles.

Also, with these users, I cannot change anything on the Security Scope tab for 
their account.

I wanted to delete the user and re-add them, but I don't have the option to 
delete the user either.

On these 3 accounts, if I add a new role, I get one  screen.

But on the administrative users where I do have "full control", when I go to 
add a new security role I get a totally different screen/wizard..

I am seeing this in the hman.log file on the primary site server:
Failed : Sync SMS Admins group memberships status : -1 , last error : 0

Has anyone seen this issue before?

I'm not sure why I'm getting different options when I go to add a security 
role.  These administrative users were created a few months ago and I have not 
had an issue modifying security roles for them until the last week.
