Have you tried updating from SP1 to R2, then update to CU1? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I've tried to run the R2 CU1 client upgrade on some of them, but since they do not have R2 installed, the update fails. The only solution that I've found so far is to completely uninstall the current client and install the R2 client and then apply the CU1 update, which is not ideal. Is there a way I could upgrade the SCCM client from SP1 (5.00.7804.1000) to R2 CU1 (5.00.7958.1203) directly?
