Apparently that is not good enough for one of the compliance standards (maybe 
PCI), or at least that is what I'm being told.

BTW I did find the GPO to force full encryption.. It's an SSD drive so we will 
see how on it take to encrypt!

You can, however, use Manage-bde to turn Bitlocker off and on. Turning it off 
decrypts the an encrypted drive. Maybe you just need to turn it off, and the 
turn it back on using the Fully Encrypted option.  Just a guess, though.

However, Microsoft recommends using the new Used Space Only Encrypted. It's 
enabled by default.

I can't find any reference to being able to convert between used space only and 
full (or vice-versa) so my initial thought is that you cannot do this directly.

How can you convert a Bitlocker drive from "Used Space Only Encrypted" to 
"Fully Encrypted"?
