Hi all,

right now I don't have any log files, but maybe somebody has seen something
like this before.

I'm in a locked-down DMZ environment on a freshly installed, from the Microsoft
DVD, WS2012R2 WORKGROUP machine. No custom config on that server, besides a
HOSTS file editing.
The DMZ does not have a DNS server.
Only port open to ConfigMgr is 443 (and later 8531).

Agent installation runs fine. Network Analyzer shows communication (HTTPS)
between the workgroup machine and the MP/DP on the internal network on port 443.
ccmsetup exits with error code 0.
Now should be the point where the agent tries to register.
ClientIDStartupManager.log file shows that it's selecting the correct
certificate and "executes registration synchronously". Then it sleeps for 297
seconds, and then another 296, another 295, and so on...
During that whole time Network Analyzer shows no activity whatsoever, even
though the network is still up. I can telnet to the MP on 443 just fine.
The log file doesn't show any errors, just that it's sleeping for ever on and
on.

Sounds familiar?

Cheers,
-------
