I must be missing something, since I can't seem to figure this out or find any info on the web.
If you have SCUP and you've created the self-signed cert and it's in all 3 folders: WSUS\Certificates Trusted Root certification authorities\Certificates Trusted Publishers\Certificates And I've also published the certificate to the TrustedPublisher\Certificates on all your clients. If the box goes down and CAS/WSUS are on the same box, and I need to restore the box, what do I need to do to get the certificate from the failed box into the right places for the new restored box? I think I'm missing something simple here. I'm assuming I can use the same self-signed cert from the failed box on the new one? I don't want to have to recreate another self-signed cert on the new/restored box since then I would need to get that new cert again on all my clients.
