Has anyone enabled TDE (Transparent Data Encryption) on SQL 2012 database
that is being used for SCCM 2012? The client I'm currently at is very
security conscious and all databases must be encrypted. We have 2 options:

1) Enable TDE but not supported by Microsoft
2) Enable EFS on the SQL database files which is supported by MS, but from
what I've read you take a huge performance hit.

I don't want to do anything that's not supported by MS, I'm just curious if
others have used TDE or not with SCCM 2012 database.
