well, up to you I guess if you want to add another section... but personally I'm getting version 4.5* stuff with the existing edit. I haven't seen a need to update it to look in the \Full sub regkey--the exact same version information is in the \Client sub regkey. At least for me.
does someone have a different experience? that for .net 4.5x... what they see in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Net Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Client\Version is different than what they see in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Net Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full\Version ? Now I have extended hardware inventory to include a registry key I have found here: Determine Which .NET Framework Versions Are Installed HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full\Release [REG_DWORD]: 378389=.NET Framework 4.5 378675=.NET Framework 4.5.1 installed with Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2 378758=.NET Framework 4.5.1 installed on Windows 8, Windows 7 SP1, or Windows Vista SP2 379893=.NET Framework 4.5.2 381029=.NET Framework 4.6 Preview this key is only for .NET 4.5 and later but that’s ok for me. thanks all who replied From: Krueger, Jeff Sent: Wednesday, February 11, 2015 7:53 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [mssms] query Add Remove Programs (32 and 64) You could also make two separate query rules for that collection, one for x86 ARP and one for x64 ARP. The built-in report "Computers with specific software registered in Add Remove Programs" does return all records because it is using the view "v_Add_Remove_Programs". I need the same data with a query to create a collection.
