Not without somehow sucking that data into ConfigMgr which would be a bad idea
since ConfigMgr is not a CMDB. Why do you want to do this with ConfigMgr? As
noted, it's not a CMDB.

Subject: [mssms] Report on VMware ESXI Servers in SCCM 2012?

Hi All,

Does anyone know if it's possible to perform hardware inventory of VMware ESXI
Hypervisor servers (HP ProLiant) in SCCM 2012 R2 SP1? (without hacking the
Hypervisor)

Basically I pull hardware/software reports for various tasks (e.g. number of HP
GEN 9 servers online in a certain site), but currently I have to use a mix of
HP SIM and SCCM to pull some reports as SCCM isn't aware of the ESX servers,
I'd like to be able to report on ESX servers using SCCM.

Many thanks,
Jason
