It occurs to me - have you checked HKCR and your program's file type
extension and / or its document type?

E.g., your program uses .DPQ as a file extension and "dpqfile" as the
document type, so look in:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.DPQ

(yes, period should be there), and

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dpqfile
