I agree.  I have been taught the benefits of doing things in that way.  But
remember that the email system as a whole is an impersonal system.  You
don't know someones knowledge or their personality.  They also don't know
yours and an individual can come across in the wrong, perhaps harsh manner.

What am I saying?  For example, and indivual on one of the lists once took
the trouble to use www.google.com and provided me with some hyperlinks to
answers.  He showed me that I could find the information I needed with a
little work.

Please remember this guy is not english too.

Lastly, and that reminds me, we once suggested placing some good resources
at the bottom of emails , like codeguru, codeproject, etc that shows people
a good set of resources.  Just a thought!
