Since we rebuilt our print server we have had this message pop up. I
have not spent much time as no-one has complained but as it is a live
topic I wouldn't mind fixing the damn thing.

Did you go to the print server, printers and ports or is it somewhere in
jetadmin? I looked in both but couldn't find anywhere to disable the
popup.

Thanks

Nathan

This is a setting on the printer shares on the server. I believe it is a
check box "notify print job status" or something to that sort. Just
going on memory.

Subject: Pop-up message after printing

NT 4.0 SP6a

After having to rebuild our server due to Nimda, I had to reinstall HP
Jet Admin 3.0 for our print server. Now, whenever anyone prints, a
pop-up message appears that the job is printing and then one for when
the job is finished. All log settings are disabled in JetAdmin, User
Manager and Alerts on the server.

HP couldn't answer because they said it was printing problem with MS.

Any suggestions?

Mike
