Install Windows for Workgroups on you Bosses machine, let him use it for
about 2 weeks then ask him "why did we upgrade from 3.11?".

You don't have to. But if you would like to take advantage of the security
features, low administrative features to name a few, then it may be a wise
choice. There are probably a dozen reasons why it would benefit, but none of
them are really necessary.

"Why do we have to upgrade our NOS from NT to 2000 and our desktop OS from
