I cannot post attachments to this list so I'll do my best to describe what appears:
Using the URL I get little to no actual text and the images start to appear ok for example the top two to three millimeters are ok then but then look as though someone has smeared them across. Subsequent images are replaced by the 'not found' representation. When using the IP address, everything appears correct. -----Original Message----- From: Hilary Cotter [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, January 08, 2002 9:53 AM To: MSWinNT Discussions Subject: RE: DNS + Garbled Pages I guess the question is what do you mean by garbled. Perhaps the problem is that the images don't come down at all and the html tags don't have any height and width values in them which will mean that the page might render differently. Then css's might not be comming down resulting in other formatting problems. Or perhaps instead the expected images you get something different? If it was a dns problem you shouldn't get any page parts at all (unless of course you have fqdn image sources). ------ You are subscribed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------ You are subscribed as [email protected] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
