Within the software itself there is a way ( which I explained) but for it to work it has to be on a share that the users log into at least once a week. There is only one machine here that everyone logs into, that's the email server. If I sit the share on a BDC, when they log onto the PDC ( which is also the email server ) will the BDC see it? And begin the update process.

I read the manual for CSAV for setting up an automatic update of all the deffiles and software. It suggest to use a machine that everyone logs into (PDC), at that point it will then check version numbers of the software and deffiles. IN fear of taxing this machine to much, I am looking for another solution (other than new AV software). Bottom line, I dont have the time to go around checking virus updates for every workstation. Is there a way to do this without using this server?
