There is a utility in the Windows 2000 resource kit call PERMCOPY. Here
is the info:

Copies the permissions (ACLS) from one share to another.
PERMCOPY \\SourceServer ShareName \\DestinationServer ShareName

Should do exactly what you need done.

Subject: Copy NTFS permissions

Hello all,

How can I mimic the NTFS permissions of an entire tree structure to a
tree structure (created exactly the same) on another host without a
network connection btw the two? Is there a utility that I can use to
take a snapshot of the permisssions, then apply those perms to a tree
just like it? I feel like I;m forgetting some very easy way to do
this....

Thanks in advance,
Conan Moore.
