The networking bits mentioned are as I remember them.

The docs were terrible when I made the one NLB cluster that I worked with,
be sure that you get the following things set properly.

Unique cluster ID, I think that's the words, you'll know it when you see it
while creating the cluster, it's a unique number in the cluster 1-32, just
use any one that isn't in the cluster.

Server affinity, spend some time on this, it's something that your code
determines if you need it or not.  I suspect that a Term server farm
wouldn't.  This matters if the programmers set session variables.


The hardware does not have to be the same, but it should be similar
performance, as NLB doesn't know how to balance based on system load.
