BTW: I have found it helpful to have File and Print Sharing turned on when
accessing other Windows computers, even if not sharing on that machine. And
just to make clearer the change to primary logon needs to be done to 9x.

On when you log into NT it log in to Novell and MS simultaneously. With
Win9x it logs into Novell first then MS then Windows. I am assuming this is
a domain/AD network so one option is to do a NT login script for the net
uses and make sure that the 9x machines are set to use domain logon(This is
how we do it). You may also try to change the Primary Network Logon to
Client for Microsoft Networks. That way it will login to MS first and the
Novell logon will run automatically after. The biggest difference is that
you will have a NT/Domain logon box instead of the Novell.

Subject: NT Loginscript

Our primary network environment is Novell. We currently have a Win2000
server that we want to attach our users to. Most of our users are using
Win98. When we use the net use command on a Novell loginscript it works
fine on NT/2000 but not on Win98. We received an error saying that you
have to be logged in first before executing this command or something like
that. I proceeded making an NT loginscript (JUST NET USE COMMAND), it
works on NT but on Win98 it only works if you RESTART the machine rather
than logging off and logging in again.

PLS. HELP
