I make batch files like this for my kids start menu. They look something
like this:

start d:\progra~1\intern~1\iexplore.exe www.bigideafun.com
start d:\progra~1\intern~1\iexplore.exe www.veggietales.com
start d:\progra~1\intern~1\iexplore.exe http://www.briomag.com/
start d:\progra~1\intern~1\iexplore.exe http://www.clubhousemagazine.org/
start d:\progra~1\intern~1\iexplore.exe http://www.whitsend.org/

Those would run in a login script or in individual batch files.

Subject: Running an HTML file from a command prompt

> Does anyone know how to run a html file from a command prompt (i.e. from a
batch file)? I want to setup a generic ID in a NT 4 domain, which has a
login script that opens a html page. This ID will be logging into both NT 4
and Win 9x clients. Any ideas how to do this or any other ideas?
