If the fuse gets hot or the fuse is blown replace the 4 (big) rectifier diodes
(it's a common defect for the 8280)
also sometimes the clamps witch hold the fuse can make a bad contakt. ,and will
become hot.
a fuse is allowed to get warm , but not hot.
