] I'm not really interested in an MSX380 100% compatible with MSX, if I want

If it is not compatible, then you wont be able to run old msx programs like
msx-dos and assemblers. One of the supposed advantages of the z380 was the
z80 compatibility, which made the z380 even usefull before z380 specific
software was written for it. I really do hope that the z380 projects will
tackle this problem in a proper way.

] (super FAMICOM) VDP for the video, I really prefer the the system is
] desinged to operate in 32bits to boost disk and memory access, using fast
] SRAM or maybe SDRAM.
If you really want that, you should buy a pc and install linux or windows nt
on it. Then you have a cheap (because of mass production and heavy
competition) 32-bit system with a 32-bit OS. And you can use one of the many
MSX emulators to run your old MSX software. In that case you do not need a
z380 roject.
