Hello Egor,

EV>You should use PR archiver on MSX - that's pure MSX archives.

Where may I download the PR archiver?

I'll hope that it operates under CP/M-80.

EV> MSXes in Canada? I would like to know more about that!!! ;-)

Well, there's not much to say about that...

When MSX was first introduced, the marketing included Canada
and the USA. I was one of the attendees at the big launch
party/exposition in Chicago, hosted by Microsoft. MSX just
didn't take flight here, as it has in the European and South
  American communities.

I bought an MSX Yamaha CX5M, years ago, from a music shop, but
my main interest was in the Spectravideo SV-328, which, as you
know, was the inspiration for the MSX standard. For a while, in
the early 1980's, I worked for Spectravideo Canada. I now do
engineering design and development of embedded systems -- which
is one industry where the Z-80 & Z-180 are still major players.

My interest in SV/MSX was only recently rekindled by a technical
question from Tomas Karlsson, the proprietor of the Unofficial
  Spectravideo Web Site ( http://home1.swipnet.se/~w-16418 ); he
also includes some MSX technical info.

It's been just a few weeks since I powered up my Spectravideo
SV-328 again, and am now actively tinkering with it, but only
as a hobby. I've made an EPP (Enhanced Parallel Port) interface
to link the SV with my PC, so that I may use some of my Z-80
development tools to create other SV items. Near the top of my
projects list is a FDC/HDC, since my original SV equipment was
either lost or damaged while in storage.
