Hi people, > Contact the designers of ACCNET ([EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED]) > Maybe they can tell more about it. ACCNET is to connect an internal > PC-modem (ISA?) to MSX! The ACCNET only uses the UART pins of the PC Internal MODEM. Really a ACCNET is equal to a RS232 cartridge, but with a MODEM in the other point (not a DIN25). > I think it's not hard to adapt the "modem"-software to other means! Use NE2000 in MSX is hard (is uses 24bit address). NE1000 is the same thing (because use 10bit address, I thing). In discussions the soluction is stidy the Ethernet CHIP (this chip is very cheap) and construct a Ethernet board for MSX. Another soluction is the NE2000 for Notebooks. It is a peripherical that be connected in the paralel port of PCs Notebooks. May be construct a Bi-direcional paralel port for MSX can be a good idea... --- Giovanni Nunes - http://www.geocities.com/ResearchTriangle/2472/ Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----------------------------------------------------------------- "... the world is grown so bad.
