Hello to you to

>Well, I'm now bugging around with my IDE interface and I
need some info... I've been reading about how IDE registers
work, and it would not be very difficult to write a new disk
driver which could access a full IDE
>disk or CDROM.

Lots of people will be interested in a better working
IDE-interface...

>What I need to know is which hardware ports does the IDE
interface use to send data to IDE-registers. Besides, I'd
like to know how to write the cartridge's SRAM chip, in
order to install there all the routines needed
>for the management of the drive(s).

I dont have any sources but is debuging of the flashbios
program an option? It knows how to adress the rom and the
cartridge!
