Hi all!
This has been a looong time without writing here, but now I'm on holidays and can
spend a bit of time with my NMS8280... ;-)
Well, I'm now bugging around with my IDE interface and I need some info... I've been
reading about how IDE registers work, and it would not be very difficult to write a
new disk driver which could access a full IDE
disk or CDROM.
What I need to know is which hardware ports does the IDE interface use to send data to
IDE-registers. Besides, I'd like to know how to write the cartridge's SRAM chip, in
order to install there all the routines needed
for the management of the drive(s).
If you know about this, please let me know, because Henrik Gilvad doesn't answer my
emails (maybe he's as busy as me)...
Thanks in advance!
PS:
Manuel: I got the post card! Thanks to you! :-)
Tristan: Hmmm... I'll make these disk images again... Will a simple 'cat /dev/fd0
>image' work?
