        Come on!
If you write data em #FFFF strange things can also happen on MSX1!
#FFFF is secondary slot register. If the MSX RAM is located in a
subslot and you put values in #FFFF, you'll probably change the pages to
an empty slot, get trash at PC and CRASH. If the MSX RAM is located in a
primary slot and your MSX doesn't have any subslot, so write anything at
#FFFF and nothing happens.
Here in Brazil, the Expert and HotBit, two MSX1 models, have RAM
in a primary slot. With Expert Plus, DD Plus and 2/2+ Upgrade Kits, tha
RAM is changed to a subslot. Well, programs that put value at #FFFF (and
run fine on Expert/HotBit) crashes in the others. The fault? Of the
programmers, too. But here, good (and right) information about MSX was
difficult...

Slotexpanders work fine with MSX1. Tested by many MSX users in
Brazil since it appeared here. :)
