I agree. What's the point of demomaking if we cannot control hardware?
IN/OUT commands must not be forbidden! I will describe the rules for such
compo as: "any program in BASIC with any operators as long as it is not
directly calling a ML extension except for XBASIC."

Does this sound reasonable?

I would like to take part in the challenge.
