As far as I know, it's only possible to receive data through the
joystick port. Using the PDL command, it sends a trigger puls to pin 8
of the port, your connected hardware has to send back a puls between
10 us and 3 ms. This can be done with a 555 timer or equal.
I've made something like that about 12 years ago, but the data has
lost :-(
