Why don't you use a FTP-programmm like WS-FTP or CUTE-FTP. With these
programs you don't have any problems uploading the files at Funet!
FTP-programs can be found at allmost every PROXYSERVER (most wanted
software?). Even YOUR internetprovider has these programs!
