: People,
:
: In last year, in last Brasilia meeting, I said two Turbo Rs
: sharing the same SCSI Bus. All computers was using a MegaSCSI
: (a Janapanese Model by ESE and other the Carchano's model),
: all computers runned Ok! Was two zip drives and one hard disk
: in the bus, but the computers crashed when the computers try
: to access the same partition. :(
:
: I listen stories that in Japan, MSX users connect MSX to PC
: and Macintoshs for file transfer.

The Bert-interface can handle a SCSI-network... You can give the interface
ID# 5 or 6 by holding one of these numbers during startup, so there is no
ID-conflict. And there shouldn't be any further problems exept that the
SCSI-bus will conflict when there are 2 transmissions at the same time. But
there is nothing built-in Dos2 to avoid this. You'll just have to take care
not to transfer on 2 computers at the same time. And that shouldn't be a too
big problem. Because for Windows doesn't run on MSX there are no
'unpredictable' disk-accesses (exept for the screensaver). According to the
developer (HPN), it should work.
