As far as I know, the Y2K problem is not relevant for the MIR since the MIR
will be taken out of operation before the year 2000 anyway. If I'm correct,
then the current crew aboard is the last crew planned to be there. Once they
are back on planet earth, the MIR will be taken out of orbit and the new
international space station will be launched. Though, plans might change now
that Russia is completely bankrupt and the world economy is going down
again...
