If you redesign the R800. The memory management unit is built into the R800.
Maybe you can change its behaviour by pulling up or down some of its pins but
I seriously doubt that.
I guess we just have to live with the many design flaws of the MSX turbo R.
It could have been that much better if the engineers at Panasonic or ASCII
would have had some more time too work out all details. But still, despite
all the design flaws, the fact remains that the MSX turbo R is a nice machine
to have. It was well worth the money I payed for it back in 1991. It's only
that I'm a little bit frustrated about the fact that it could have been even
better if those little things had been worked out more thoroughly.
