But think that using existing work area is always dangerous. For example,
most people uses the PLAY buffer for resident programs, and sometimes a
conflict appears.

I don't understand at all this method. You want to patch the hook for
reading/writing physical sectors, so if the sector number -1 is specified,
your new sector access routines will then act, I'm right?

I think that substituing the whole DOS is a little radical solution, but if
you have already the major part of the work done, continue with it! On my
hand I will continue with my project of making a patch for MSX-DOS 2. I have
already contacted with Taro Kashiwazaki, the maker of MSXCDEX for Mega-SCSI.
