Because he wrote to it as was it a double sided disk? As far as I know
only MS-dos 3.0 can handle a single sided MSX disk correctly.Most other
tools don't look at the media ID who says it is a single sided disk.
They just see a DD -disk and write to it with the two heads (double
sided)

The directory has only three entries so I'ld say you were lucky to have
that sector on the right place ? (just guessing ofcourse :-)

Are you using a Turbo-R? If the diskcrack uses direct access to the
diskcontroller....
Maybe the game needs 256kb an your emulator has that many and your real
one doesn't, or maybe because your real msx has two mappers were the emu
has one big mapper?
