I have a Philips Music Module and a Syquest 44MB SCSI hooked on an original MK SCSI interface. When I plug them both in a Philips NMS 8280, I get the message: "SCSI Interface selftest failed" When I take the Music Module out then the harddrive workes fine. I work already some years whith the same interface (maibe a different ROM version, I haven't checked that yet) connected to a 8250 expanded to 256Kb, 2+ and 7Mhz, slotexpander, FM pak and several harddisks like an old 860Mb full size 5 1/4" HDD, the same Syquest, Zipdrive and Bernouli 150Mb. Till now I haven't connected the Music module to this system because the above configuration has been build together in a big Desktop PC case and the music module doesn't fit in there. You would probably have seen my computer on different MSX fairs over the last 2 to 3 years. It is that big White case with the 7 Mhz LED display on it with a Commodore Stereo Display on top. An other question I have is, can and how can I use a SCSI CD-Rom on the above configuration and what CD titles are worth to buy? (I have a Toshiba 4.4 speed SCSI CD_ROM on my PC that I will consider using on the MSX) Greetings and in case I do not mail again till after this year, Merry Crismas and a healthy New Year, Hans-Peter Zeedijk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
