I wrote a small text file on tape storage some time ago, with info on
headers, datablocks and all the like. I'm not sure about parity, but CRC
is definitely not used.
I believe the text is in the Ultimate MSX FAQ nowadays, but I'm not sure,
and I can't check it at the moment (no WWW access :-()
Ask Manuel Bilderbeek, maintainer of the U-MSX-FAQ...
