] Is this easy to do, removing this extra T-state???
Depends on the MSX model. If you have an old MSX1 without an engine, then you 
can most probably do with a few minor modifications on your motherboard. 
Though, if you have a newer MSX, one with an engine, then you do have a big 
problem. The wait state is generated by the MSX engine. So, you would need to 
replace the MSX engine. With some kind of circuitry that has the same 
functionality as the engine but that does not generate the waitstate.

But as I said before, that would not be wise. As most MSX developers have 
based their timing calculations on this waitstate being present in the MSX 
system...
