Hi all,

the Sega Megadrive has a YM2612 (OPN2) FM-Soundchip. It's 6 channel 4
operators. I may be similar to the NEO GEO soundchip, the YM2610 (OPNB).

AFAIK, the Yamaha CX5M uses a YM2151 (OPM), an 8 channel 4 operator FM-chip
(it works very much unlike the Type L-series, like OPLL/1/3). If anyone's
interested, I could upload the YM2151 user's manual to my homepage.
Somebody with a CX5M or SFG-01/05 module could check out if I'm correct.

Greetz,

                Patriek
