  Because its easy to 'learn'. You and me and all people that
uses always knows that the WWW is not needed for CJB links,
but most people don't know this fact.
  It's psicologically proved that something common is learned 
more easily. This is why I put www.
  There is one site of OS/2 programs (it's offline due to some
problems, now) and it's server name is 
  http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/
  But not only me, but several people writes it wrong, with
the WWW befores. Result: it doesn't work and I need
to erase the WWW. Even knowing this fact, almost
always I make a mistake on using this URL.
