Not in my browser, I have IE 5.0 and it just closed all windows. I mean, if
you want people to see your page, make it compatible. I know that microsofts
IE is not 100 compatible with java, but, it runs about 3 times faster than
netscape, so yeah I use it, and I'm not ashamed of it.
and it is petty thinking that doomed MSX, people wanting to make money out
of a hobby. I'm not talking about the big guys, I'm talking about the little
guys, remember sparrowsoft? HSH? all that shit?
If we want to enjoy MSX in the future, charge only what you have to for your
software, try to not do it for the profit guys, and try to make pages on the
web accessible for everyone, I'm not going to install Netscape just to view
your page. So if it doesn't work, too bad. My phylosophy is that a page
should work in every browser, just because people use IE, it is as simple as
that. If you say, hey but IE is incompatible, you are right, but you also
exclude a large number of people from your site.
Lets stop this nonsense of barking at microsoft, Bill won't sleep a minute
less for it. Instead lets focus on the things we have and we can work with.
Like phoenix, a great idea. So please stop the nonsense like "it won't run
in IE, because I don't like IE". Whatever...
