Hi!
Another option for your GETDISK troubles:
Make a backup of the problematic disks, edit the bootsector, change the
bytes that cause the error (most likely the first 3 bytes of the disk or
the first byte of the FAT (sector 1), change them into what "normal" disks
have in that location), make the disk image, edit the disk image to restore
the bytes you changed before.
With a little creativity and a lot of patience, many problems can be
solved... ;)
