Absolutely not. I'd be glad to have at least one article! None recieved yet...

Ofcourse we take them seriously. It's just that
1) some people can't write in English properly, and translating is too much
work
2) the magazine was originally Dutch
3) what's the problem with Dutch articles if most of it is English anyway?

That's fine with me. I publish whatever I get, as long as Frank and I (Frank
&& I) think that the quality is high enough. I don't care how many persons
translated it, as long as we don't have to.

Good point. Arnaud and I should do the webtech, but since I'm now coordinating
the articles, I think Arnaud had better do the nastier webtech. As a matter of
fact, I think he is already working on something, aren't you Arnaud? (I/O!)

Don't you like that?

Ofcourse. That's an advantage of using HTML instead of a paper magazine.

True. But numbers are always a bit shorter. They don't disturb the -- I don't
think this is correct English -- 'textimage' (Dutch: het tekstbeeld).

True, but I meant guidelines that make it easier for us to do the layout. Also
some other 'rules', like writing 'pc' instead of 'PC', 'scsi' instead of
'SCSI' (abbreviations that are so common that people don't think of them as an
abbreviation anymore and abbreviations that are pronounced like words
respectively).

Ofcourse. That was the plan.
> You could make some guidelines for images. Which formats do you accept and

Good point. For now, I think the formats will be GIF and/or JPG. I can convert
almost anything with xv, but no pc-specific formats, like PCX. Vector formats
may also be ok (ps, eps). Let's keep it to those, for now.
> Hey, maybe you can make a deal with FutureDisk or XSW so they can spread

Well, I don't think that's a good idea, since the people who do have
web-access and also have subscriptions to those magazines, will hardly find
something new in them then. Or at least, a lot of things they already read on
MCCW. But if those magazines see it as an 'extra', hmm, maybe. Don't count on
it...
