In short, for the non-Dutch readers:the writer was shocked about the way in
which the Dutch MSX-Info Blad was reviewed by another Dutch magazine,
XSW-Magazine.

I also noticed that there is some kind of battle between these magazines,
or, to be more correct, some kind of hostileness from the side of XSW
against the Info Blad.

To be honest, I, too, don't think this is fair. My own opinion (and let's
make it clear that this is my OPINION) is that the Info Blad is much better.
The texts are more objective and grammatically better written than XSW.
Therefore, I get the impression, there is sometimes the attempt from the
side of XSW to mind the details in the other magazine a little too much. The
same is true for their reviews of the FutureDisk, which, sometimes, are just
ridiculous. The FD is a good magazine. That's no opinion, it's a fact. But
there is this sick habit to write nasty things about them anyway. Why'd you
do that ? You don't gain anything about it ?

Well, in general, I think there is too much incorrect competition in the
Dutch MSX-scene nowadays. It's a pity and I think it would be good if it
just stopped. The first step would probably be to quit reviewing the other
magazine (there is only one left, isn't there ?). There's no point in it,
except raising the readers hair. Write about something else. Nobody is
really interested in that kind of reviews, anyway.

Sore de, ijou.
Rieks.
