Maybe there don't even exist such a thing as 'specs' for the PMA format,
only programs that use the method - who knows?

But check out UNPMA.COM, on my page:

It contains full (Z80 assembly) sources of a fast PMA extractor (comments in
the source are in Dutch though). It doesn't give PMA format 'specs', but using it
you can fairly easily find out how PMA files are organized.
And for the compression method: although I rewrote lots of the code (reverse
engineered from PMext), I don't even fully understand the method used.

Anyway, maybe this helps...
