The "separate printjobs" problem is probably specific to the browser or
printer system you're using. It's not inherent to HTML.

But there are other problems with HTML. The creator has very little control
over how it will appear in someone's browser. Different browsers have
different layout algorithms, resolutions are different, fonts and font sizes
etc. So if you want to make a manual that looks like the original, HTML is
not a good choice.

OCR would be ideal, but for manuals with a small amount of text it is not
necessary.

Does anyone know if there is a Latex to PDF converter? A friend of mine
thinks it exists, but I didn't search for it yet. Or maybe there are other
converters to create PDF files?
